Fernanda Abreu is a Brazilian singer-songwriter. She started her career in the 80s with the successful pop-rock band Blitz. In 1990, she launched a solo career and became internationally known for translating the city of Rio de Janeiro in her songs. Fernanda does the perfect link between the city and the “favelas”, mixing disco, dance, samba, pop and funk, creating an unique beat.
